We would like to inform you about application for the SNU Global Scholarship (GS), second semester of the 2025 academic year as follows:

1. Eligibility

• Foreign graduate students (current students and those scheduled to enroll in the second semester of 2025)
  • Note: Preference is given to current students of the Graduate School of Environmental Studies.

2. Scholarship Details

• Global Scholarship I: Tuition waiver, monthly living allowance of KRW 1,200,000, airfare
• Global Scholarship II: Tuition waiver
• Korean Language Training: Tuition for the Korean Language Program (Evening Class) at the Language Education Institute (Fall 2025)

3. Scholarship Period

• 6 months, one semester (2025 Fall)

4. Application Period

• June 23rd(Monday) 9:00AM to July 4th(Friday) 11:00PM (KST)
• Online application through mySNU portal (my.snu.ac.kr) (please refer to the attached document)
  • Note: For new students, creating a mySNU account is mandatory for application (refer to the attached English guide).
  • Students who which to receive Korean Language Training MUST mention it for the reason of scholarship application, when making the application online.

5. Announcement of Results (Individual email notification by the Office of International Affairs)

• July 15th, 2025(Tuesday), 6:00 PM (KST)

Additional Information

• To be eligible for the GS scholarship, students must have at least one semester remaining.
• Applicants who will complete their degree requirements by Aug 2025 are not eligible for selection.
