- International students(Master's & Doctoral):
- Students whose native language is English: Choose either ① passing the Korean language exam or ② completing 「Korean Language and Culture 1 or 2」.

※ Please note that the substitute courses(「Korean Language and Culture 1 or 2」) do not count toward the credits required for program completion.
※ Students may not apply for a thesis/dissertation defense during a semester in which they are taking a substitute course. (For master’s students, this means that the substitute courses must be completed by the end of the 3rd semester.)
※ Doctoral students must fulfill the Korean language requirement separately, even if they completed the substitute courses during their master’s program. They must either take the Korean language exam or complete a substitute course again during the doctoral program. If a student already completed 「Korean Language and Culture 2」 during the master’s program, they must either take the Korean language exam or complete 「Korean Language and Culture 1」 during the doctoral program.
※ The English test score requirements differ from those used for admission. Only valid TEPS or TOEFL scores are accepted.
- English score requirements: TEPS 298 or TOEFL iBT 88
