현대차 정몽구 글로벌 장학재단에서 2024년 1학기 외국인 장학생을 다음과 같이 모집합니다. 

  가. 지원자격 (동시충족)

    - 본교 대학원 학위과정 신입생(2024학년도 1학기 입학예정자) 중 베트남, 인도네시아, 말레이시아, 태국, 필리핀, 미얀마, 캄보디아, 라오스 국적자(이중국적자 제외)

    - 경영/경제, 미래산업 이공계(지능정보기술, 바이오헬스, 에너지 신산업 분야), 한국어/한국학 전공자

  나. 지원내역

    - 등록금 전액, 학습지원비 월 100만원, 정착지원금 250만원(최초 1회), 졸업격려금 100만원(최종 1회)

    - 국내 학생과의 교류 캠프 및 세미나 등 각종 재단 장학행사 초청 (재단 공지)

    - 해외 학술대회 발표 시 참가경비 지원, 글로벌 우수 장학생 포상 (추후 공지 예정)

  다. 지원기간: 정규학기 이내 석사 최대 4학기, 석박사통합 최대 10학기, 박사 최대 8학기

    ※ 매 학기 성적심사를 통해 지속지원 여부 결정

    - 각 대학(원)에서 지원 학생들의 구비서류 취합 후 전자결재 문서를 통해 국제협력본부에 제출

We are pleased to announce the call for Spring 2024 Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Global Scholarship. Please see details of the scholarship below and apply within the designated period.

1. Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Global Scholarship

This scholarship is given by the Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Foundation to foster outstanding graduate students and enhance mutual friendship between ASEAN countries and the Republic of Korea.

2. Eligible Applicants (must meet all the below requirements)

- Status: Graduate students who have admission to Seoul National University for the Spring semester of 2024

- Nationality: Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos (not applicable for those who hold Korean dual citizenship)

- Major: Business/Economics, Natural Science and Engineering (Related field: Intelligence information technology, Bio-health, New energy industry), Korean language/studies

3. Scholarship Benefits 

- Full tuition, Study Allowance (KRW 1,000,000 monthly), Settlement allowance (KRW 2,500,000 one time), Completion Grant (KRW 1,000,000 upon successful completion of degree)

- Invitation to Foundation scholarship events (exchange camps and seminars)

- Participation expenses for overseas academic conferences, and additional scholarships (separate notices and guidelines will be given)

4. Scholarship Period (supported within the normative period)

- Master's degree program: maximum 4 semesters 

- Combined master’s and doctorate program: maximum 10 semesters

- Doctoral degree program: maximum 8 semesters 

※ Scholarship recipients must have a 3.3/4.3 GPA at the end of semester to continue eligibility for the second semester.

※ Scholarship recipients are not allowed to receive other scholarships at the same time, except for cases where the recipient receives a work-study scholarship or a BK21 scholarship, or a one-time given scholarship 

5. Required Documents

- Academic Transcript and Graduation Certificate (for Doctoral degree students, both Bachelor’s and Master’s)

6. Deadline

- Submission deadline: December 29th, 2023

8. Screening of Documents: During January 2024 

※ An on-line interview with the Hyundai Foundation Office will be held to those who passed the 1^st level of screening 

9. Final announcement of results: During late January 2024 to be announced by e-mail (only those who passed the final screening will be contacted)
