Heejung Yim, a research director of sustainability at the Stanford Center in Korea, works for various aspects of sustainability, particularly focusing on the circular economy in urban areas and the dynamics of energy transition markets. Her research interests extend to renewable energy markets, associated technologies, and urban green infrastructure. Heejung brings extensive professional experience to her role. She has worked as a management consultant at Nomura Research Institute America, IBM Consulting, and PWC Consulting Korea. She has also contributed her expertise to several startups in both Korea and the United States, including her own venture. She holds a master's degree in sustainability from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in history and business administration from Sogang University.
