• 석사과정 교과목은 전공별로 구분되어 있으며 본인이 속한 전공 교과목을 이수할 경우 전공이수학점으로 인정. 아래의 기준에 맞게 전공별로 필수로 이수해야만이 수료사정 대상자가 될 수 있음. [도시계획학과 학사내규 제19조(석사과정 교과목)]
  • 도시및지역계획학전공: 12학점 이상
  • 교통학전공: 12학점 이상(교통공학, 교통계획 필수 이수교과목. 단, 석사과정에서 해당 교과목을 이수하지 않은 경우에는 박사과정에서 필수로 이수하여야 한다.)
  • 도시사회혁신전공: 9학점 이상
• 석사과정은 타 학과·대학원 개설교과목은 15학점 이내에서 이수해야만이 수료학점으로 인정받을 수 있으며, 지도교수 혹은 학과장의 승인을 받아 '타 대학원 교과목 수강신청서' 및 '학부과목 수강신청서'를 제출해야 함. [도시계획학과 학사내규 제20조(타 학과(부) 교과목의 이수)]
• 박사과정에서는 전공이수 교과목에 대한 필수 이수 학점은 없으나 총 36점의 이수 요건을 충족하는 과정에서 아래 기준을 준수해야 함.

  • 예시: 대학원 논문연구 한 번 이수 시: {36학점 - '대학원 논문연구' 3학점 × 1} ×0.5 = 16.5학점
  • 예시: 대학원 논문연구 두 번 이수 시: {36학점 - '대학원 논문연구' 3학점 × 2} ×0.5 = 15학점
  • 예시: 대학원 논문연구 세 번 이수 시: {36학점 - '대학원 논문연구' 3학점 × 3} ×0.5 = 13.5학점
  • 예시: 대학원 논문연구 네 번 이수 시: {36학점 - '대학원 논문연구' 3학점 × 4} ×0.5 = 12학점
• 석사과정의 경우 대학원논문연구를 이수하여 논문연구학점 3학점을 필수로 취득해야하며 최대 3학점 인정함, 박사과정은 대학원논문연구는 필수는 아니나 한 학기에 한 번만 수강 가능하며 최대 12학점까지 이수 가능.  [도시계획학과 학사내규 제23조(논문연구학점)]

• Students who wish to register for cross-listed courses must register for the course offered by their home department.
• The course [Reading and Research] must be registered under the section offered by the student’s academic advisor.

• Master's program courses are organized by major. Courses offered within a student's own major are recognized as major credits.

  To be eligible for program completion, master's students must complete the minimum number of major credits specified below in accordance with Article 19 (Master's Program Curriculum) of the Department of Urban Planning Academic Regulations.

  • Urban and Regional Planning Major: At least 12 major credits
  • Transportation Studies Major: At least 12 major credits, including the required courses Transportation Engineering and Transportation Planning (Students who did not complete these courses during their master's program are required to complete them in the doctoral program.)
  • Urban and Social Innovation Major: At least 9 major credits
• Master's students may count up to 15 credits earned from courses offered by other departments or graduate schools toward the completion requirements. To receive credit, students must obtain approval from their academic advisor or the Department Chair and submit the appropriate application form(s), including the '타 대학원 교과목 수강신청서'(Application for Taking Courses Offered by Other Graduate Schools) and/or the '학부과목 수강신청서'(Application for Taking Undergraduate Courses), in accordance with Article 20 (Completion of Courses Offered by Other Departments) of the Department of Urban Planning Academic Regulations.

Doctoral students are not required to complete a minimum number of major credits. However, in satisfying the overall requirement of 36 credits, they must meet the following requirement in accordance with Article 24 (Doctoral Program Credit Requirements) of the Department of Urban Planning Academic Regulations:

• Completed major credits in the Department of Urban Planning ≥ (36 − credits earned in Reading and Research) × 0.5
  Examples:
  If Reading and Research is taken once: (36 − credits - 3 credits × 1) × 0.5 = 16.5 credits
  If Reading and Research is taken twice: (36 − credits - 3 credits × 2) × 0.5 = 15 credits
  If Reading and Research is taken three times: (36 − credits - 3 credits × 3) × 0.5 = 13.5 credits
  If Reading and Research is taken four times: (36 − credits - 3 credits × 4) × 0.5 = 12 credits

• Master's Program: Students are required to complete Reading and Research and earn 3 thesis research credits as a graduation requirement. However, a maximum of 3 thesis research credits may be counted toward the degree requirements.
• Doctoral Program: Reading and Research is not a mandatory course. However, students may enroll in it only once per semester, and up to 12 thesis research credits may be earned. [Department of Urban Planning Academic Regulations, Article 23 (Thesis Research Credits)]
