Real world issues as well as theoretical backgrounds will be equally emphasized. Throughout the course, I will focus on developing analytical capability in formulating environmental problems. Special emphasis will be given to understanding the economic nature of climate crisis, which is one of the most challenging issues facing human race in the 21st century. Such relevant issues as domestic environmental problems, transboundary pollution, non-market valuation, and trade and environment will be discussed. Global trends to tackle climate crisis including RE100, ESG, and Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, will also be discussed."}
